Salary: $45 / Hour

Position Summary:

Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher to support students within the Pasadena Unified School District . Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the teacher will provide high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students with moderate to severe disabilities in grades K-12. This role requires a collaborative spirit, a commitment to inclusive education, and a passion for helping every student reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.

Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and life skills training in a variety of settings.

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional learning communities.

Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (Master's preferred).

Valid Moderate/Severe Special Education Credential (or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of one year in a teaching environment preferred.
