General Responsibilities:

Develop and implement instructional plans that align with district curriculum standards.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students in meaningful educational activities.
Continuously assess student outcomes through informal and formative assessments.
Maintain effective communication and interaction with students, parents, staff, and the community.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and strengthen community relations.
Commit to ongoing professional development and the integration of technology in the classroom.
Participate in district-wide professional development initiatives.
Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the position.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Current Michigan certification (DA, DX, or DI) appropriate for the subject area.
Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of middle school students.

Position: Science Teacher

Compensation: Up to $50 per hour
