Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of scientific concepts and the ability to integrate biblical principles into their teaching. They will inspire students to develop a love for science while nurturing their faith and character development.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons for middle school students, incorporating Christian principles and values.

Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore scientific concepts and develop critical thinking skills.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, projects, and other forms of evaluation.

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Previous experience teaching middle school science is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of Christian principles and their integration into curriculum development.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to the mission and values of Monroe Christian School.

Education Requirements

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field

Valid teaching certification in Washington state.

A combination of education and experience will be considered for qualified candidates.
