Job Summary: The position is for a Middle School Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 School Year. Qualifications: Appropriate NJDOE Teacher certifications for Middle Grades Science Highly qualified status preferred Comprehensive certifications preferred Strong disciplinary and organizational skills Ability to work as a member of a team Ability to exercise good judgment and promote a safe and secure learning environment ?Demonstrated knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards Demonstrated knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science, including three-dimensional (3D) teaching and learning that integrates Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs), Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs), and Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCIs) Experience designing and delivering inquiry-based, student-centered science instruction Familiarity with or willingness to be trained in OpenSciEd, the district's adopted science curriculum, which emphasizes collaborative problem-solving, phenomena-based instruction, and real-world applications of science Salary: REA Salary Guide Range Step 1 BA: $55,526.00 to Step 21: MA+30 $102,176.00
