Middle School PASS Teacher - Heartland, TX

Soliant is hiring two full-time Middle School PASS Teachers to support students through a structured behavior support model focused on social skills development and inclusive academic support. This is a resource/inclusion-based position no self-contained students are currently assigned. Caseload Details: Total of 30 students, split evenly between two teachers Approximately 15 students per teacher Focus on resource-level social skills instruction and general education support for inclusion-based social skills instruction Support from 2 paraprofessionals shared across both classrooms Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted social skills instruction aligned with students' behavioral goals Support student behavior and success within the general education environment Collaborate with gen ed teachers to adapt and implement positive behavioral interventions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to behavioral goal development Coordinate and supervise activities of assigned paraprofessionals Monitor, document, and report student progress on behavior and social-emotional skills Foster a safe, respectful, and structured classroom environment Qualifications: Valid Texas teaching certification Experience working in behavior support or special education preferred Strong classroom management, communication, and team collaboration skills Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and positive behavior supports Ability to build supportive relationships with middle school students Schedule and Location: This position requires a commitment of 40hours per week Employment is for the duration of the school year, following the academic calendar (August 4, 2025 - May 22, 2026) Work will be based on-sitein Heartland, TX
