Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Business Education Teacher to implement a standards-based curriculum tailored to the needs of our Middle School and High School students. This role supports academic achievement and reinforces positive behavior, contributing to a safe and caring school community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver effective lesson plans

• Monitor academic progress and tailor instruction as needed

• Provide extra academic support outside of class time

• Promote respectful and appropriate student behavior

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment

• Participate in professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or the ability to obtain it

• Minimum of 21 years old

• Prior experience working with youth preferred

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Must pass DCFS background check and fingerprinting
