Job Summary Middle School English Teacher - Holy Cross Academy Holy Cross Academy is seeking a passionate Middle School English Teacher who will inspire students to develop a love for literature, writing, and critical thinking while integrating Catholic values into their learning experience.
Job Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with academic standards and Catholic teachings. Teach reading, writing, grammar, and critical analysis skills to middle school students. Foster a classroom environment that encourages discussion, creativity, and respect. Incorporate faith-based perspectives into literature and writing assignments where appropriate. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and exams. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives. Maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain one. Experience teaching middle school students preferred. Strong commitment to Catholic education and student development.
