JIQ Boys Middle School/ High School - A vibrant boys school servicing grades 7–12 is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our staff. The position involves teaching regular, Regents-level, or A.P. Science classes depending on the teacher’s expertise. We are looking for someone who can share their enthusiasm for science in a way that inspires students, helps them believe in their ability to succeed, and creates a productive and respectful classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach science classes across a variety of levels (General, Regents, and/or A.P. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Earth Science).
Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science in students.
Maintain clear, consistent classroom management while building strong relationships with students.
Adapt lessons to meet the varying needs and learning styles of students.
Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, administrators, and staff to support student growth.
