Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum and educational standards. - Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students. - Utilize various teaching methods and resources to deliver effective instruction. - Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment. - Provide academic advising to students regarding course selection, career paths, and college preparation. - Offer individualized tutoring and mentoring to students who require additional support. - Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives. - Incorporate instructional design principles to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area preferred,but not required - Previous experience teaching at the high school or middle school level is preferred. - Knowledge of research methodologies and scientific research practices. - Proficiency in utilizing digital and computer resources for academic purposes. - Strong behavior management skills to create a positive classroom environment.
