Position Summary:

Great Oaks Charter School is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Drama Teacher to bring the world of theater to life for our students. We're looking for a creative educator who can inspire young actors, foster self-expression, and build confidence through dramatic arts. If you're passionate about introducing students to the magic of the stage and helping them discover their dramatic potential, we want you to be part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach a comprehensive drama curriculum

• Direct school plays and dramatic performances

• Instruct students in various acting techniques and theatrical styles

• Organize drama workshops and theater appreciation activities

• Collaborate with other departments for cross-curricular projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, Drama Education, or related field

• Valid teaching certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong background in acting and directing

• Experience in teaching drama to students

• Excellent communication and creativity skills
