Candidates must have strong content and pedagogical knowledge to teach Algebra 2 Accelerated and Geometry courses. Experience collaborating with colleagues, supporting student-centered/discovery-based instruction, employing remediation, and work with multilingual students is an asset.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator's License with a secondary mathematics endorsement required. Exceptional candidates have experience using standards-based grading educational models, instructional differentiation, use of instructional technology, and understanding and applying response to intervention (RtI) strategies to support learners. Preference will be given to candidates who also hold an ESL endorsement.
Tentative Dates: August 6, 2025 through September 2, 2025
Salary and Benefits: $353.74/per full day assignment. No additional benefits are associated with this position.
