The Math Teacher for Torrington High School is responsible for delivering standards-based instruction in mathematics, which may include courses ranging from Algebra I to advanced electives such as Pre-Calculus or Statistics. They design lessons that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical reasoning while meeting the diverse learning needs of students. The teacher also assesses student understanding, provides timely feedback, and collaborates with colleagues to support student achievement and curriculum alignment.
