REPORTS TO: Campus Administration

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Lab Teacher for our middle school, responsible for delivering engaging instruction in Math, encompassing all areas of the subject. The ideal candidate will foster a love for Math and support student learning during scheduled classes.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitate student learning in concepts and skills for Math Implement lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet student needs. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field Valid Connecticut certification 006, 029 or 229 Experience working with school-aged children PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bilingual in Spanish/English TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Full-time/ School year Union affiliation, if applicable Salary per collective bargaining agreement or district scale

SALARY RANGE:As determined by professional experience and NLEA Contract.
