Qualifications:
- Appropriate State of Illinois License in Special Education (K-12) or Early Childhood Education.
- Student teaching and/or current experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder, preferably in a self-contained classroom.
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for teaching students with autism, including ABA techniques, structured teaching, and sensory integration strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and outside professionals.
Purpose: To help young students with autism grow and develop.
