Lake Washington High School Lake Washington High School is looking for a qualified Music Instruction Teacher (Includes Jazz, Symphonic, Marching, and Orchestra) for a long-term substitute position. This position starts September 2, 2025 and ends November 14, 2025.

Washington State teaching certificate with Music - Instrumental endorsement.
Salary:
Long-term substitute assignments in excess of twenty (20) days will be paid at the contract teacher rate. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. This position does not meet requirements for state health benefits.
Long Term Substitute Assignments:
Long-term substitute assignments in excess of twenty (20) days will be paid at the contract teacher rate, retroactive to the first day of assignment, except that when, in the judgment of Human Resources, the assignment appears at the onset to be a long-term assignment, the contract teacher rate may be paid from the beginning of the assignment.
Substitutes can become eligible for benefits. See section 22.1.1 through 22.1.4 of the current CBA.
