***Long Term Substitute*** Kindergarten Teacher - Aug 27, 2025 through end of Dec 23, 2025. Must hold RI Early Childhood Certification or RI Elementary Education Teacher K-6. The Cumberland School Department is proud to offer a full day kindergarten program to its early learners. We are looking for a dynamic kindergarten teacher who will provide an educational program for kindergarten students in an environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students to promote positive attitudes of self-worth; motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation for further participation in the total school program, in accordance with each student's ability; establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
