Conant High School is seeking a dynamic Math educator who believes in individualizing education in order to maximize student learning to serve as a long term substitute on our math team. This educator must constantly seek to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff and community. The ideal candidate will be able to: Create relevant and rigorous learner outcomes written in learning progressions. Align curriculum, instruction and assessment to clear learning targets. Offer opportunities for meaningful student voice and choice. Establish a strong, positive learning environment. Serve as a Teacher Advisor for a small group of students. Assess and monitor learning using a variety of methods and adjust instruction accordingly to individual student needs. Be a positive and active member of various learning communities within the school.
