Lead Toddler Teacher

Insight Global is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our client's early childhood education team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing, play-based learning environment and is committed to fostering the growth and development of toddlers (ages 13). As the Lead Teacher, you will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom where young children can explore, learn, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and curriculum standards.
  • Foster a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative teaching team.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with families, providing regular updates on child progress and classroom activities.
  • Ensure the classroom meets all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
  • Observe and document children's behavior and development, using assessments to guide instruction and support individual needs.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to plan events, activities, and professional development.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Lead Teacher certification or equivalent (as required by state licensing).
  • Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of toddler development.
