Established in 1997, we are affiliated with the American Montessori Society and licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services, serving the diverse needs of Loudoun County.
*Summary*
We are seeking a passionate toddler Teacher to join our collaborative community at the Montessori School of Leesburg. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters children's natural curiosity and love for learning, while implementing the Montessori educational framework.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Montessori philosophy. * Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. * Manage classroom behavior effectively to promote a positive learning atmosphere. * Observe and assess each child's development and progress, providing individualized support as needed. * Communicate regularly with parents about their child's growth and classroom activities. * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. * Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting. * Strong understanding of child development principles and behavior management techniques. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * First Aid/CPR certification is a plus but not required.
