Lead Teacher/Advisor Manlius Pebble Hill School (MPH) seeks an experienced and dynamic elementary educator to join us as a Lead Teacher/Advisor in one of our Lower School classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year. As the only Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 independent school in Central New York, MPH provides the guidance and resources for students to develop and pursue their interests in a healthy and engaging educational setting. Reporting to the Head of Lower School, the Lower School Lead Teacher/Advisor is a full-time, academic-year faculty position. The annual salary range is $48,500 - $65,000, with excellent benefits that include medical, dental, and life insurance, an employer-matching retirement savings plan, and tuition remission for eligible children. Working with children, teachers, and parents to contribute to a supportive environment that is responsive to student needs and interests. Requirements ? Bachelor's degree (master's degree is preferred) . ? At least three years of classroom experience at the elementary level. ? Demonstrated ability to be dynamic, knowledgeable, and caring in an educational setting. ? Training, knowledge, and/or teaching experience with the Science of Reading, Singapore Math, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and Diversity, Equity, and Belonging (DEB) is preferred. ? Training in Orton Gillingham (through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education) will be provided as well as opportunities for professional development through the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning (CTTL) and in LETRS Structured Literacy Training. ? Aptitude for recognizing and responding effectively to varied student interests and needs. Key Skills and Qualities ?
