Lead Teacher Preschool

Description: Our preschool is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of young children. Requirements: - Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom - Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and exploration - Establish positive relationships with children, families, and staff - Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development and use the information to plan and adjust curriculum - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development - Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress and development - Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and volunteers - Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events as required
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool setting - Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff - Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
