Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, professional, energetic lead teacher who can successfully manage and maintain a well-organized classroom by continually restoring and enhancing the environment suitable for young children. Must work effectively with directors and staff members to provide a learning environment for our children, develop and execute weekly themed lesson plans, providing group sensory, art, and special activities.
Educational Qualifications:
- An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or related field .
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field is preferred.
- Child Development or (CDA) Certification.
- Promote open communication and foster positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Maintain all health and safety regulations
- Develop individual care plans for each child based on their stage of development.
- Maintain daily notes and files on the childrens development and progress.
- Model empathy through respect, response, and gentle guidance.
- Foster emotional and social development through a secure attachment with each child.
- Lead and plan curriculum activities that stimulate childrens interest and ability.
- Participate in need and service meetings, parent/teacher conferences.
- Work effectively with directors and staff members to provide a suitable learning environment for our children.
- Develop and execute weekly themed lesson plans, providing group times, sensory, art, and special activities.
