The Goddard School of Rockville is currently hiring for a qualified pre-k teacher!

Duties include:
Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
Presenting developmentally appropriate educational expectations
Meeting the individual needs of the children
Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff
Participation in staff and training meetings
Teacher Qualifications:
Minimum of MSDE-OCC Teacher requirements (90-hour training)
Bachelor's degree in education.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Strong written and communication skills
Prior classroom experience in early childhood education is preferred.
Starting Salary range $20+ per hour based on experience, education and certifications.
