Summary
We are seeking a qualified lead preschool teacher for a faith-based 4-year-old program. Low student-to-teacher ratio. Spacious classrooms and large playground. We support a developmentally age-appropriate learning environment paired with a play-based approach to early childhood learning. Looking for a teacher who truly enjoys preschool age children.
Duties
Ability to work with other staff members.
Able to adapt curriculum and lesson plans to meet the educational needs of the children in the class.
Have a thorough understanding of the natural growth and development of young children.
Establish and enforce age-appropriate expected behaviors to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Establish and maintain quality relationships with students, their families and fellow staff members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Will consider a combination of an Associate degree and work experience. Applicant needs to have a
commitment to personal growth through ongoing training and education.
