Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to join our daycare team! In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Duties

  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the developmental needs of infants/toddlers using weekly themes
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infants/toddlers to grow and learn
  • Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants/toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
  • Observe and document developmental progress of infants/toddlers and communicate with parents/guardians regularly
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
  • Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant/toddler care and education
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant/toddler care and education


Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with infants/Toddlers
  • Knowledge of infant/toddler development and care
  • Able to oversee class with a ratio of 1:6
  • Ability to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Monday through Friday 7am-2pm
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Background check
