About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Early Head Start program. This role focuses on providing high-quality care and education for young children aged 8 weeks to 3 years, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Programming:
•Plan and implement daily learning activities that foster development
•Conduct assessments and share progress with families
Classroom Management:
•Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
•Ensure daily routines and activities are developmentally appropriate
Family Engagement:
•Strengthen parent-child relationships through regular communication
•Encourage family participation in learning and community activities
Qualifications:
- Required: Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience as an Infant/Toddler Teacher (Creative Curriculum experience is a plus!)
- Valid Adult/Pediatric CPR/FA/AED Certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, kneel, bend, and sit on the floor
- Ability to manage family crises and maintain professional boundaries
- Familiarity with ProCare, GoEngage, Teaching Strategies, ASQ Online, HELP, and HSELOF databases (preferred)
