Job Qualifications

Required:

  • California Teacher Permit
  • Formal training in early care and education, and experience working with infants and toddlers in an educational setting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff, infants and toddlers, parents and families
  • Ability to be flexible, open-minded, follow directions, and follow/implement plans
  • Ability to move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals
  • Possess a telephone or other means of immediate communication
  • Ability to travel for home visits as needed

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential obtained within one year and AA and BA in Child Development preferred
