The Goddard School located in Little Rock is seeking a motivated and caring Infant Teacher. You'll support your Co-Teacher in creating engaging programs, managing the classroom and ensuring a safe, stimulating environment. Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Assist your co-teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness
- Supervise and provide individualized support to children
- Assist in communicating with parents about their child's progress and activities
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Support routine childcare tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
- Complete care routines like diaper changes, bottle feeds, solid feeds, and playtime

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Works productively
- Basic understanding of child development
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Ability to pass a drug test
