POSITION TITLE: HOMEBOUND TEACHER REPORTS TO: OFFICE OF STUDENT SERVICES OVER-TIME STATUS: N/A PAY GRADE: N/A JOB SUMMARY: Homebound instruction is an alternative method of providing educational services for students in grades K-12 who are unable to attend school because of temporary, or permanent disability. The Homebound Office determines eligibility based on medical information submitted by a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, or psychiatrist. A short-term service provided for a minimum period of two weeks and maximum period of 3 months. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Maximum of 10 hours per week (per child) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must be a certified licensed teacher
