PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Work with both SPED and General Ed students in a DAEP setting. Working with Edgenutiy to complete course work required for the student to return to their home campus.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Valid Texas Teaching certificate SPED certification preferred SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned areas Knowledge of the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal-setting process and implementation General knowledge of curriculum and instruction General knowledge of working with students in a discipline setting Working with Google Docs and Google Sheets EXPERIENCE: Prefer at least 5 years of working as secondary teacher
