Our Organization is excited to partner with a welcoming Illinois school district to bring on a passionate Elementary Resource Room Teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a unique opportunity to work with a small, manageable caseload of 8–9 students, focusing specifically on reading and math instruction within a supportive resource room environment.

As the Resource Teacher, you’ll provide targeted instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals, helping to build confidence and foster academic growth. Collaboration will be key—you’ll partner with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure every student receives consistent support and the tools they need to succeed.

In this role, you will deliver individualized and small-group instruction in reading and math, ensuring lessons are tailored to meet each student’s IEP goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective lesson plans, tracking and reporting student progress, and maintaining compliance with all requirements. Collaboration will be an essential part of your work, as you partner with colleagues, paraprofessionals, and families to support whole-child development. Additionally, you will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Requirements Illinois LBS1 K-12 Certification required.

Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related degree.

Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role.
