Position Summary: The Emily G. Wetherbee School is seeking a 5th-grade Mathematics teacher responsible for teaching four core Math classes and an intervention class. Proficiency in the Massachusetts State Standards is preferred.

The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Experience with co-teaching and inclusion practices, including collaborative planning, are recommended. Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Creating academically rigorous lesson plans, materials, and assessments utilizing the Eureka Squared (Math curriculum) and Maintaining homeroom cumulative folders • Incorporating technology into lesson activities • Overseeing one homeroom class and one advisory class • Participating in the Warrior S.T.R.O.N.G. schoolwide positive behavior support protocols • Participating in grade-level and content vertical planning meetings • Attending IEP, 504, student support, and team meetings • Participating in curriculum night, report card night(s), and monthly building meetings

Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) • Massachusetts Teaching Certification
