Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of children. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning. This position is responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering engaging instruction, assessing student progress, and maintaining communication with parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that align with the school curriculum and state standards

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for students

Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

Assess student progress through observations, assignments, and formal assessments

Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students

Implement classroom management techniques that foster mutual respect and responsibility

Support the emotional, physical, and social development of students

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

Valid state teaching certification for elementary education

Prior experience teaching at the elementary level preferred

Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom
