Position Overview: We are looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care staff for youth in foster care. This is more than just a job - it's a calling. As Direct Care staff, you'll play a central role in a young person's life during one of their most critical and vulnerable moments. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent, trauma-informed care and supervision in a residential setting

• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where youth can heal and grow

• Support daily routines including meals, school, appointments, and recreational activities

• Foster trust and connection through empathy, patience, and positive communication

• Model healthy relationships and life skills, from conflict resolution to self-care

• Work collaboratively with case workers, families, and other team members

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold SC Department of Social Services licensing and safety standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience with youth or individuals impacted by trauma is highly valued

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass background checks, drug screen, fingerprinting, and required clearances

• Compassion, reliability, and a deep commitment to helping others are essential
