The Position:
The English teacher will be assigned a maximum of five sections of English Literature courses and work alongside other English teachers within our schools Language Department. The first day of the school year for faculty is August 25, 2025.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in English Literature is required
- Masters Degree in Secondary Science Education is preferred but not required
- Prior successful full-time teaching experience in grades 7-12 is strongly preferred
- Able to use technology to further student learning (i.e. Google Classroom, Zoom, PowerSchool)
- Prior experience in Cristo Rey schools, Teach for America, Alliance for Catholic Education, or NativityMiguel schools is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting salary is $55,000. Work experience and education will be considered for compensation. The exact amount is commensurate with experience and benchmarked with our peer local and Cristo Rey Network schools.
Comprehensive benefits are included in the overall compensation package.
