We are hiring  English Language Teachers  to provide in-person customized lessons to our clients'  children  in Ann Arbor, MI.
Job Information:
Student 1: Class: 184660 Students: A 13-year-old child Availability: Monday and Thursday evening (4:00 pm - 8:00 pm) Lesson frequency: Twice a week Lesson length: 1 hour Location: Lessons are to be held at the client's home, close to the crossing of Chapleau Dr / Sudbury Blvd, Ann Arbor, MI Current target language level: Advanced Native language: Portuguese Student's goals: Improve writing skills Additional Information: Dynamic and interactive approach Interests: Lego, films, toys, art, nature, animals, learn how to be polite in the new country, school-related vocabulary, and practicing making friends Students 2 and 3: Classes: 185194/185196 Students: 2 children (ages 2 and 8) taking separate classes, back-to-back Availability: Flexible Lesson frequency: Twice a week Lesson length: 45 minutes, one child, 30 minutes the other one (back-to-back) Location: Lessons are to be held at the client's home, Ridington Rd, close to the intersection with Purley Ave, Ann Arbor, MI Current target language level: Beginner Native language: Spanish Students' language needs and goals: - 8-year-old child: "She started learning basic English at a language school in Barcelona, some months before our moving to the US.
She has started elementary school in Ann Arbor since beginning of February and is following an EL program there." - 2-year-old child:
"He is a baby, and we want him to get immersed in the language learning process.
He is attending daycare since the beginning of April, and there he has started his contact with English and native English speakers. We want an in-person option to allow him to continue learning while playing and having fun." Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
