Job Information: Ref 118117

• Student: 1 adult – in-person class

• Location: Near W 5th Avenue, Tallahassee, Florida

• Availability: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday around 10:00 or 11:00 am

• Preferred start date: ASAP

• Lesson Frequency: 3 times per week

• Lesson Duration: 1 hour per lesson

• Student’s location/time zone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)

• Current target language level: Intermediate

• Native and other spoken languages: Indonesian and other local languages

• Student’s language needs and goals:

  • Improve general and business English skills

  • Plans to apply for jobs and/or pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance

  • Focus areas: Speaking, listening, and writing (reading is the strongest skill)

  • Prefers a mix of structured grammar-based lessons and storytelling/monologue practice

  • Enjoys conversational lessons with real-time corrections and feedback

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learner’s proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring student’s progress and guiding toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of experience

• Experience teaching business English is a plus

• Experience working with adult learners pursuing academic or professional goals
