District: Orono Public Schools Job Summary: Teach elementary English language learners. Collaborate with other teachers to design and coordinate assessments and utilize data to target student needs. Participate in regular PLC meetings as an active and engaged professional. Communicate frequently with parents, colleagues, students, and administrators through all available means of technology. Establish and maintain high standards for the educational experience of students.

Qualifications: Current Minnesota K-12 ESL license required. Fluency in Spanish or other language preferred. Understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies for second language learners. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in collaboration and problem-solving. Experience with curriculum, assessment, and accommodation design. Understanding of the role of parent involvement and the ability to collaborate with parents. Ability to use technology as an instructional tool.

COMPENSATION for Full Year, Full Time BA Step 1 ($49,266) to EdS Step 20 ($105,958)
