The Cheltenham School District announces the following contract professional employee teaching position is available beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

Position : Special Education Teacher

Location: Myers Elementary School

Requirements:

Valid PA Instructional I or II Special Education Certification required; Additional certificate in Elementary Education(K-6, Reading Specialist) and Autisim Endorsement (preferred) Experienced teaching in a low-incidence of Autistic Support classroom (preferred) Experience supporting students with behavioral, academic, communication, and functional needs related to Autism (preferred) Skills: Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the various needs of students in the classroom Experience with behavior management and implementation of positive behavior support plans Understanding of applied behavior analysis (preferred)
