See our full statement on diversity here. OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a full-time Performing Arts who can continue to help build Match Community Days Arts program. The position entails teaching upper elementary Performing Arts classes and a Kindergarten Visual Arts class. The position is located at Match Community Day (Matchs elementary school) on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park, MA. The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,812-$98,899 and is based on a candidates prior years of teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance. We would like the Performing Arts teacher to offer a mix of classes in vocal music, instrumental music, dance, improv theater, and musical theater. There is a budget available for equipment and supplies. The Performing Arts teacher will: Design curriculum and teach upper elementary school Performing Arts classes and a Kindergarten Visual Arts class; Teach classes at multiple grade levels; Prepare students to perform at community meetings throughout the year; Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there; Participate actively in Matchs coaching and professional development programming; Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; and Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community
