Job description: Provide direct instruction to students with IEPs in a pull-out or push-in model. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Administer and interpret assessments to inform instruction and track progress. Adapt and modify curriculum to meet students' unique learning needs. Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, service providers, and families. Maintain accurate records and document student performance and IEP compliance. Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and staff development sessions. Support student behavior using proactive, positive interventions and strategies. Qualifications: Valid Michigan Teaching certificate with any of the following endorsements is required: SA, SB, SC, SE, SK, SL, SM, or SV. Must be highly qualified to teach K-5 special education. Experience working with diverse student populations preferred. Interest in working in supplemental athletics and/or academic activities preferred.
