Elementary School Interventionist

Provides targeted reading and/or math support to students below grade level. Works with teachers and support staff to implement interventions, monitor progress, and improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver small-group or one-on-one instruction
  • Use assessment data to plan and adjust interventions
  • Monitor and document student progress
  • Participate in RTI/MTSS meetings and planning
  • Communicate with teachers and parents

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama teaching certificate
  • Experience with reading/math interventions
  • Strong communication and data skills
  • Knowledge of RTI/MTSS preferred

High School Teacher

The high school teacher is responsible for delivering standards-based instruction, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of students in grades 912. This role includes lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, and collaboration with colleagues and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with the Alabama Course of Study
  • Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom
  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events
  • Support school-wide goals and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama teaching certificate in subject area
  • Bachelor's degree in education or content area (Master's preferred)
  • Strong content knowledge and instructional skills
  • Classroom management and communication skills
