POSITION: EARLY HEAD START CREDENTIALED CHILDCARE TEACHER ASSOCIATE - FULL-TIME (ages Infant-Toddler up to 3) LOCATION: IG Center, 3450 NW 199th Street, Miami Gardens When: Daytime, Monday thru Friday, 40 hours per week, schedule anywhere from 7:30am to 5:30pm (staggered shifts), totalling 8 hours per day, year round New Rate of Pay: $16.89 per hour

***FCCPC Birth – Five certification, or CDA certification in Infant-Toddler, Staff Verification Birth-Five required Responsible for planning and implementing daily learning activities, nurturing the children and managing and maintaining the Early Head Start classroom and its equipment and supplies, establishes and maintains supportive relationships with infants, toddlers, and parents and implementing developmentally appropriate routines and curriculum for infants and toddlers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned. Requirements: FCCPC Birth – Five or CDA certification in Infant-Toddler required DCF 45 hr. training certificates required ; High School diploma or GED required , Red Cross First Aid & CPR certificate; certificate of good health and completed TB test required; minimum 1 year in childcare services; 15 hours in-service training annually thereafter; requires fingerprints, level 2 criminal background check, and drug test Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CPR First Aid Certification (Preferred)
