School Details:

  • ~700 kids
  • 7:30a 3p
  • 1 Self-Contained EC Teacher
    • 5 kids (K-3); AU stemming behaviors
    • 2 TAs in class
  • 1 Resource/Inclusion Teacher Middle School
    • Middle School ages
    • Case load = ~28 kids
    • Push in (only a few kids) and mostly pull out (small groups)

Duties:

  • Complete lesson plans
  • Complete progress reports
  • Use assessments and data to inform instructional practices
  • Utilize IEP information to adapt instruction to reach the needs of students

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed teacher in North Carolina or hold active out of state Special Education Teaching License
  • Must be licensed by NCDPI in EC General Curriculum
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience required
  • Passionate teacher who puts the students first
  • Strong desire to help kids
