Duties
- Assist in supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care
- Support the lead provider in preparing and facilitating age-appropriate learning activities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly learning environment
- Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, and rest time routines
- Encourage positive social and emotional development through modeling and guidance
- Maintain accurate records and daily reports as directed
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with children, parents, and team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework or experience in early childhood education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
- Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with children
