Position: Early Childhood / Preschool Teacher Highland School

2025-2026 School Year

Required Qualifications:

Must have a valid Professional Educator License with Illinois State Board of Education
Must register Professional Educator License in South Cook Region 07
Must have Early Childhood Special Education endorsement

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Early Childhood / Preschool Teacher working on a multi-disciplinary team in the preschool/early childhood environment.
The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with special education team and parents regarding preschool readiness skill development to be reinforced in the classroom and home environment.
Experience writing IEP goals and objectives addressing academic readiness skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English, both oral and written

Pension System:

Salary: $49,144 - $58,966; Based on collective bargaining salary schedule. Commensurate with experience.
