Our 5-Star preschool program is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join the team! *This job is a perfect part-time job for parents of school-age children.* *The hours are 11 am-3 pm, Monday - Friday, and follows FCPS calendar... SUMMERS ARE OFF!! *The applicant must be dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children of all ages can learn, explore, and thrive.

Preschool Teacher Responsibilities Include:

* *Help maintain our 5-Star rating* * *Follow state licensing requirements* * *Attend in-service and staff development trainings (15 required PD hours per year)* * *Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.* * *Managing classroom behavior effectively and creating a positive learning environment.* * *Assessing children's progress and communicating with parents.*

Qualifications:

* *CDA, CCCC, Associate’s / Bachelor’s Degree or higher, relating to childcare (preferred)* * *Prefer a minimum of 6 months of experience working with children* * *Must pass a criminal background check* * *Negative TB skin test* * *Flexible and energetic* * *Strong multi-tasker * * *Excellent communication and people skills*
