Requirements / Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of: Understand the core purposes of the dual immersion program and research behind the program’s effectiveness; is familiar with or is willing to acquire knowledge of language immersion models and curriculum. Experience and Education: •Possession of a valid California teaching credential authorizing service as a Chemistry teacher. •Possession of a valid BCLAD/Bilingual authorization •Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community members in Spanish and English. APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of: •A completed certificated EDJOIN application; •An up-to-date resume; •Three (3) letters of recommendation are REQUIRED. The letters must be signed and dated within the last two (2) years. Acceptable signatures are: electronic document (Docusign or similar platform) or handwritten scanned signatures. Typed signatures will not be accepted. •Proof from the CTC website showing a valid California teaching credential authorizing service as a Chemistry teacher; •Proof from the CTC website showing a valid BCLAD/Bilingual authorization.
