Job Summary
Junipero Serra High School, a Catholic college preparatory school in Gardena, California, is accepting applications for the position of Director of Athletics for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Director of Athletics is appointed by and is responsible to the Principal and is charged with the leadership, supervision, and coordination of all school athletic programs. This role ensures that athletics align with the school's Catholic mission, promote character formation, and provide a safe, competitive, and enriching experience for student-athletes. The Director of Athletics serves as a member of the Administrative Council and works closely with faculty, coaches, students, parents, and external organizations to uphold the school's standards of excellence in sportsmanship, discipline, and athletic achievement.
In addition to administrative responsibilities, this position also requires teaching 1-3 courses as assigned by the Principal, based on the candidate's qualifications and the school's academic needs.
We're looking for a faith-driven leader to guide our high school athletic program in alignment with our Catholic mission.

- Experience with budgets, scheduling, and facilities
-Passion for student-athlete development and safety
