Program Overview Teaching Schedule: 35-37 hours per week with flexible planning periods Student Range: Preschool through high school learners with hearing differences Service Model: 18-38 students receiving individualized and group instruction Communication Methods: Multi-modal approach supporting diverse communication preferences Educational Focus: Academic achievement, language acquisition, social-emotional development, and post-secondary preparation Core Teaching Functions Lead comprehensive educational programming that addresses the multifaceted needs of deaf and hard of hearing students in virtual environments. You'll design culturally responsive lessons that honor deaf identity while building academic competencies across core subjects. Responsibilities include conducting language assessments, developing communication-rich learning experiences, and providing targeted intervention for students struggling with grade-level content.
